What is scrip? It’s gift cards! We are fund raising while you do your regular shopping.
Parents’ Club buys gift cards at a discount (ranging from 2-15% or more!) and we sell them to you at face value. That difference goes back to Parents’ Club so that we can continue to support all of the great things we do at Sunnyside.
You raise funds for Sunnyside through purchases you would make anyway! Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with scrip. An organization of 150 families easily spends between one and two million dollars per year on food, clothing and other essentials. If these families use scrip for these purchases, they can raise as much as $40,000 to $80,000 per year! WOW!
You can also purchase scrip gift certificates to give as gifts, if you don’t know which specific gift cards to give. It’s a gift that gives twice – to your loved one and to Sunnyside!
